The myriad of construction legislations, both those issued and under development since 2005, means that individual plant hire contractors are finding it increasingly difficult to comply with all the requirements and are looking for reliable and competent advice to identify areas where they need training/certification to bring them within the legislation.
PlantCert Ltd was formed in October 2005 to provide this service offering plant testing and inspections. We also offer plant operator assessments in all categories. Training and provide advice with the completion of safety statements specifically for the plant hire industry and advice on many tender requirements.
Managing Director – Martin Collins
Martin Collins, managing director of PlantCert Ltd, has many years experience in the plant industry in various roles such as plant hire, specialist plant & machinery haulage, plant operator training and CPCS trainer/ assessor in approximately 20 different categories of plant.
Based upon all this experience Mr Collins is more than competent to carry out all the above services himself and also to surround himself with the competent people to also carry out same.
Financial Controller – Helena Ryan
Helena M. Ryan, the finance director of PlantCert Ltd, is a Certified Public Accountant who also holds a Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, CPCS Full Competence Card for Forward Tipping Dumper and a Certificate in 4×4 driving.
Helena is also the Quality Assurance and Internal Vertifier for the CPCS test center AB Plant Training.
